A bowl all the way from Marrakech has

 made its way in to our home...

there was so many fantastic 

colors to choose from 

but this one in grey/white tones 

fits well with our excisting color scheme...

& how useful it is as well...

Christmas porridge, flower arrangements, 

sallads, pasta or how about fruits!

En skål hela vägen från Marrakech har flyttat in hemma hos oss...

det fanns massor med underbara färger att välja mellan 

men den här i grå/vit färgskala passar perfekt in i vårt hem...

& tänk bara hur många användningsområden den har...

julgröten, blomsterarrangemang, sallad, 

pasta eller varför inte frukt!

   In our livingroom, I have my 18th century Asian screen doors propped against the wall. They are a bit beat up & can no longer serve as actual screen doors but now have the job as an art installation in our home.
I've dragged them all around the world. Starting with the walk home from the garage sale in Philadelphia, USA where I bought them (thanks to my friend Donna for helping me). 
Hanging on them I have a set of vintage salt & peppar shakers that have been re-maid into tassels...what a great idea from the little old lady who sold them from her street stand in New York city. 

It's in the details

This weekend we had a nice family outing 
that ended with a "fika" break at the 
cozy cafè MATVARUFABRIKEN. 

It has a great ambiance & it's own style. 
The small details make the place!

The store itself is set in a beautiful 

factory hall from 1901 & they have a great collection of products as you can see in the photos above & on their website.
